Lessons Learned

As this blog is about going “beyond what ifs”, I want to stress that that the lessons learned are what we gleaned along the way and have incorporated into our lives, our way of knowing, and our decision-making process. These lessons have also been helpful to serve as a reminder or encouragement when feeling stumped.

Here you will find links to posts that speak of OUR “lessons learned” and information we have been able to gather as part of our journey.  These are ideas and concepts that we believe should have been available through relevant sources.  For example, there is in fact a lot of information about the human experience you won’t come across simply through research.  In addition, medical and adoption professionals often will tell you what they believe to be relevant for you at that point in time, which can be subjective or even biased (albeit usually without malintent).

Through this blog, I don’t presume that I am sharing all that there is to know. It is for you to determine what may or may not apply to your situation.  At the very least, I hope you find support, encouragement, motivation, and/or inspiration to do what is right for you.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not medical advice or an infertility guide
